Matthew 28:18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

At the Westside Church of Christ we have always been open to proclaiming the gospel in nations around the world. Throughout the years we have had involvement in about 30 different nations. We have either sent missionaries on long or short term missions to the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Britain, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Singapore, South Korea, Tanzania, Thailand, and Yugoslavia.

In the past we have supported fully missionaries such as Nat Cooper of the Sunset School of Preaching in Lubbock Texas. Nat had a multitude of missionary efforts throughout Europe (1980 to 1999). In addition we supported Steve Crews and the work in Kamloops, British Colombia (1982 to 1994) as well as Manuel Gonzales and his work with the Hispanic population in Temple City and Salinas, California. Currently we encourage and lift up in our prayers Ken and Estelle Sinclair who live in Malaysia and Phil and Meridith McCollum who live in East Hollywood. We continue to support short-term mission efforts throughout the world.
